My name is Luca Manfè. I am an Italian who left his home country just out of his twenties and came to the States to follow the American dream.
At the time, I did not know what the dream was.
I grew up in the restaurant business working in Italy, Australia, Florida and New York. I had the privilege and honor to work with great Chefs, experiencing ingredients and techniques from different cuisines; from Japanese to French, to Modern American and then, of course, Italian.
Now I can tell you that each person can be in charge to draw his own dream.
I am a dreamer. I dream to be a great husband, an awesome father and a very successful restaurateur.
Since the start of “Dinner with Luca” I have had the pleasure to cook in more than 200 houses all over America and Canada. I’ve visited cities in California, Georgia, Chicago, DC, Virginia, Canada, Alaska, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. It has been great fun bringing my food to many different regions of North America.
