About Me

There may be just a few reasons why you came across my website: you are a family member, a friend or maybe you watched me compete and win on Masterchef on Fox.
My name is Luca Manfè. I am an Italian who left his home country just out of his twenties and came to the States to follow the American dream.
At the time, I did not know what the dream was.

I grew up in the restaurant business working in Italy, Australia, Florida and New York. I had the privilege and honor to work with great Chefs, experiencing ingredients and techniques from different cuisines; from Japanese to French, to Modern American and then, of course, Italian.

Now I can tell you that each person can be in charge to draw his own dream.

I am a dreamer. I dream to be a great husband, an awesome father and a very successful restaurateur.

My Italian Kitchen - Luca Manfè's Cookook

Cook Book

The No. 1 prime-time summer program on FOX, MasterChef is a nationwide competition to find the best amateur cook in the country. The judges are some of cooking’s biggest stars—award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, restaurateur and winemaker Joe Bastianich, and acclaimed chef Graham Elliot. The prize? A chance to win $250,000—and a cookbook deal.

The book highlights the food that Luca Manfé, the Season 4 winner, grew up eating in the Friuli region of Italy, an area renowned for its prosciutto di San Daniele and salami di Sauris, its savory, sharp Montasio cheese, its crispy crostini, its rich risottos, and its comforting polentas. Simple by design, the book offers 75 mouthwatering, rustic recipes from Luca’s table to yours.

Showcasing the dishes that propelled Luca to victory, such as his flawless ravioli stuffed with broccoli rabe and ricotta and his Mediterranean Sea Bass with cherry tomatoes and asparagus, along with headnotes that offer fun, behind-the-scenes details about the show’s exciting challenges and nail-biting competition, the book will be a delight for home cooks and MasterChef fans everywhere.
